Hi-ho Book Buddies!

Just taking a mo’ to wish you the happiest, healthiest and wealthiest of holiday times!

I am taking an email vacation, but when the New Year resumes, I’ll be back in your inbox with more exciting book recommendations and activities to do with your littles.

In the meantime, my gift to you is the book and activity below. I hope you will find time to read this together and remember what the holidays are really about: LOVE without words.

The Snowman by Raymond Briggs.

This book doesn’t need words to tell you that friendship, adventure, magic, wonder and love all exist in this world.
After sharing this story with your child, take a peek at the movie HERE, which is gorgeously delightful and truly faithful to the book.

This is such a cute idea to hang on your porch all through the winter! Add a little whimsy (and music) to your life with a craft done by your littles.

How to make your wind chime snowman:

Merry Christmas!!!

P.S. Here’s a few book updates that I’d love to share with the people on my reading rug:
1. Blossom Plays Possum will be translated into the Simplified Chinese Language in the Fall of 2018!
2. The Unofficial Harry Potter Insults Handbook was recognized on Buzzfeed as one of the best Harry Potter stocking stuffers! (Even though they used the wrong cover, it’s #22!)
3. Blossom Plays Possum traveled all the way to Africa to live in a school’s library there! How exciting!
